Wedding Greeting Cards

Diecuts with a View Luxury 12 Inch by 12 Inch Paper Stack

Every once in a while my scrap paper pile starts over flowing on me. So over the weekend, I decided to see what I could do with some of my scraps. Since we've been featuring a lot of wedding theme books lately, I thought I'd make some wedding greeting cards.

These were simple cards to make. I admitt, I bought a pack of blank cards by EK Success.

These two cards were made using paper scraps from DCWV Luxury Pack.

The wedding day stamp, I believe comes from Inkadoo's collection of clear stamps.

I would give you sizes to cut and instructions to make your own, but since I used the precut blank cards I'll just tell you that the first layer of card stock is 1/2 inch smaller than the card base, and the next layer - the layer from DCWV paper- is 1/2 inch smaller than that.

I used 1/2" ribbon and wrapped it around my print paper before attaching it to my colored paper. Then I attached the layers of paper and ribbon to the card base.

Next, I stamped "Wedding Day" on white card stock, and cut another piece of colored card stock 1/4" larger for the boarder piece. Then I adhered it to the ribbon binding.
