A Whirlwind of paper, fabric, and thread

I have to admit that coming to the end of June has been like being dropped off by a tornado in the middle of nowhere with just my paper, fabric, and thread scattered around me. What a mess!!

Last week, I closed up the studio and headed off to a book conference. What a blast!

However, I'm back in my studio now and happy to get back to being with family and getting back to work. I've got several projects lined up this next week, including a tea party guest book in lavender. I can't wait to get started on that one!

First however, I'll be heading out on Friday to help my mom prepare potato salad for 200 people. Yikes! (That's a lot of potato salad!) Family weddings are awesome, don't you think?

It takes a family to support and keep a marriage going, especially through those first few years when things can get a little rocky. I love how families can pull together and be there for one another, even when it means a pot luck dinner or supplying enough potato salad for a mob. :)

What's on your calender this fourth of July?

Green Elegance Wedding Guest Book

We went through seeing this book in The Design Process, and then a few post later in the finished details of the triple stitched binding. Today, I'm showcasing this wedding guest book in honor for the couple it was made for.

This was a custom order designed and created for a gift to the bride from a dear friend.

As you can see, the orginal design was for red butterflies, but we switched the pages to the floral swag stamp in red. Beautiful.

Wishing this couple a blessed marriage.

This simple stripe baby shower guest book album keepsake is perfect for those baby showers this spring and summer. The pages are blank and stamped with a bubble baby stamp that leaves plenty of room for advice and best wishes for baby.

Since this one is blue, I also offer a purple and pink on in the shop for girls, too.

Wedding Guest Book Album - Hidden Forest

Hidden. From the Secret Bird Society of Kasier Paper. It's a two tone ivory with bronze embossed thistles, butterflies, and deer.  On the back side, there's a bird and a dandelion.  It's a breath taking scene for the front of this wedding guest book album created for this special couple on their wedding day today.

The inside pages are stamped with gold ink and a floral acron border stamp.

Photo pages are stamed with this closed thistle on the bottom right.

Here is the back side of this wedding guest book album with a bird and butterflies. A truelly unique book that could be opened from either end.
