Roxie Anniversary Card

When I first laid out all my supplies to create this card I was thinking of several different embellishments, but once I cut this from a scrap piece of paper I realized the print of the Roxie Designer paper looked beautiful on it's own. I used my SAY IT IN STYLE stamp set to say"Happy Anniversary" at the top of the card.

Sweet and Simple, don't you think?

So In Love Greeting Card

One of the things I really like about the colored card stock from CTMH is that it's white paper in the center, so it  makes it easy to distress it. You can peel up a layer of the paper like I did here in this So In Love Greeting Card to create a unique effect on the texture of your card.

So In Love Greeting Card Recipe:

 7" x 10" Colonial White Card Stock
5" x 7" Black Card Stock
4" x 6" Plaid side of Roxie Designer Paper
2" x 4" Cheeta side of Roxie Designer Paper
Bling Assortment (Z1466)
Roxie WOTG Stamp Set (G1025)

Card creations are coming in and if you haven't already submited there's just 11 days left to Romance Your Card!

Happy New Year!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I am so grateful for all of you who have helped my business grow this year. I am especially thankful for those of you who started out as my customers and quickly became my friends. Becoming a CTMH Consultant in 2011 has provided me with such wonderful opportunties to gain new friendships and challenge and stretch my creativity.
I began my crafting business many...many years ago, and have been amazed how much I've learned through the processes. I've played around with many mediums until I found my niche making books and cards. What can I say, I just love books, and I really appreciate all of you supporting me through out the years. I'm looking forward to the new adventures in paper craftng that awaits us in 2012, especially if the new 2012 spring/summer idea book is any indication. Then it's going to be awesome!
This month I have a special gift to thank those of you that place an order (of any size) with me. Anyone who places an online order, a Club order, or calls or emails me with an orderany time during the month of January, will receive a FREE package of Remarks Glitter Rub-Ons ($13.95 value).

Tuesday's Card Video

It took me most of the day, but I'm so proud of myself. Granted, I still have lots of room for improvement when it comes creating video tutorials, but hey this one had music!

And, they say practice makes perfect, so I'm off to practice. Much more the wiser, I promise the next tutorial won't be upside down. Boy has offered to be my cameraman. He's such a sweetie to help his Mom.

Tomorrow I'll be in the studio setting up for Friday's open house event at the Pajama Factory. It's their 2nd annual Holiday Artisian Market. Lots of food, crafts, art, music and fun. What better way to spend a Friday night, right?

Well, I'm off to finish this month's newsletter filled with great deals, news, and tips! If your not receiving the newsletter please sign up. You're missing great deals and announcements that don't always come across on my blog. :)

Holiday Christmas Card Video

Sorry about no post yesterday. I had planned on sitting down in the morning after the kiddos were off at school to share a new video with you all when I got a phone call and had to rescue a family member out of a jam. Needless to say, by the time I got home it was time to pick the kids back up from school and the day was gone.

But what is family for? And today I have to say I'm especially thankful for good friends, too.

So without out any further delay... here is yesterday's holiday card tutorial video for you all.

Christmas Card Kits

Remember the Holiday Magic Christmas card from last week? If not you can view it here. I recently had someone order a christmas card kit to give as a gift and thought what a nice idea that was. So today, I'm working on making one for my mom.

We used to do craft together all the time when I was in high school, so I thought it would be nice to still have this connection with her and how wonderful it is to get a handmade card from someone, right?

I'm going to be putting together a few other card kits that will be available Thrusday night during the Vendor show at Hepburn Lycoming Elementry from 6 -9pm. Some of the cards will include these ones:

If you would like to order your own Christmas Card Kit, please contact me. Card kits are $15 for 10 cards or $20 for 20 cards. All card kits include envelopes and pre-cut card stock and embellishments. You will need your own adhesive and scissors.

Stay tuned, as tomorrow I've got a tutorial ready for you.

CTMH Elemental Christmas Card #2

This card design comes from the October Stamp of the Month in 2011 CTMH Autumn/ Winter Catalog. I really like the results of this card with the 3-D christmas tree and gingham ribbon. I'm thinking of adding this card to the Holiday Card Kit for this month's workshop. What do you think?

To make this card, you'll need:

October Stamp of The Month
Green Ribbon assortment (I used different ribbon, but one of these ribbons will work nicely too!)
Bling assortment
Dimensionals
Daisy Card Stock
Dessert Card Stock
Juniper Card Stock
Juniper Stamp Pad
Cocoa Stamp Pad
