Fall Leaf Dinner Party Set

It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without a formal family dinner.

If your family is as large as our family when we gather, then you might appreciate these fall leaf designs.

We usually have a few adult tables and a kid table or two spread between the dinning room, kitchen, and family room to fit everyone in the house.

Last week it rained, and all the different colored leaves were plastered on the road and on the sidewalk in front of the house. It was a beautiful sight from my office window and inspired me to make these.

I'm thinking of putting together a small pattern booklet on how to create these, what do you think?

Halloween Skull Party Package

A friend of mine gave me a great idea of adding party packages to just my regular guest book in my shop.  Since Halloween is shortly here, I decided to get creative with my artphilosphy cartridge, wall decor cartridge, some halloween scrapbook paper and green glitter.

And, I am working on creating an guest book album to match the set.

Right now, the standard package includes 4 Table Number cards,
5 food label cards, and 32 place cards.
The food label cards are about 2.5" x 4" with the pop up skull.
And, I can personalize them for an additional charge.

The table numbers are tent cards.
I used green glitter on the white numbers to give them some "pop".
These place cards are 1.5" x 3.5". The papers came from a holiday stack that DCWV sold two seasons ago (yeah I know I horde paper).

What do you think? I can change up the colors and do a reverse of the purple and green. Are you planning a spook-tac-ular Halloween party this year?

It's Finally October!!

It's finally October weather here. I've never been so happy to be chilly and damp at the same time. It really puts you in the mood for hot apple cider and pumpkin pie.  The past few weeks were still basking in summer tempatures.

But what I like the most about these chilly damp days, is the upcoming holidays. It's really put me back in the creation mode in my basement studio. It may not be as grand as a spot as I had at Pajama Factory, but I don't have to pay rent either and I don't have to leave the house when I want to create.

The kids have been super anxious for Halloween. Even Mr. ChadT is dressing up this year for his students. I'm working on a King Kandy costume for him. It will feel good to have my sewing machine back out.

I'm planning on attending some local craft shows. Watch out on my Facebook page for where I'll be, I'll be giving a "secret word" and if you show up at the show and tell me the word, you'll get a free gift. :)

I can't help myself. I just have to be creative.
Nanowrimo is coming up and I'm plotting out a new novel. There is no such thing as writers block when you've got plenty of paper crafting, book binding, and things to create in the studio that help me plot my next scenes of a novel.

I'm just so happy it's fall.

Happy October everyone!!
