This is an extra special baby shower guest book album that I created custom for this special day.  The cover was selected from my paper gallery and the name card is the Scroll Name card.

Inside pages were customized and split into two sections. The first section is this two column guests and gifts layout.

Teacher Appreciation Albums

Teacher Appreciate week starts May 2nd and ends May 6th.

So, whether your a parent, or a student, I'd like to encourage you all to write a special little note to your teachers this coming week and let them know they're appreciated.  I say this not only as the wife of a teacher, but as a parent who appreciates everything my children's teachers do to help them learn new things each day.

In honor of Teacher Appreciation I'm featuring these two albums I created themed "Back to School."

Graduation Autograph Books

I've been working on this idea for a little while now.  These are graduation autograph albums.  I don't know about you, but when I was in high school and even college we used to sign year books and tablets and even t-shirts with names and well wishes. Parents take a ton of photos for this special occasion and so, I got to thinking it would be nice to put them all together in a flip album type book to look back upon a few decades later.

Like most of my guest book albums, these graduation autograph books have blank signature pages in the front and black photo safe card stock in the back.

Love Stinks Autograph Guest Book Album

Isn't he cute?

I got this skunk paper in with a woodlands theme paper pack and just immediate thought: "LOVE STINKS" seeing him in red with the little heart on his chest.

It took me back to those Warner Brother's cartoons I used to watch growing up. You know the ones with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck? Well this skunk had me thinking of Pepe' La Pew. Poor little skunk who chased a cat and was desperately in love. sigh... love stinks.

I punched this album and laced it with white and silver 1/2" ribbon.

There are 48 signature pages made of sketch paper that I stamped with black hearts down each edge. These pages are thicker than a regular piece of copy paper and so you can use colored pencils or even markers for guests to draw, write notes, and leave signatures.

Also works well for journaling and keeping your own "book of firsts" this valentine's day.

In the back, you'll find twenty pages of black card stock (acid-free and lingign-free). I had a bunch of heart confetti from punching the A Love Like Ours Album and so I stuck these hearts at the corners of the pages.

I wanted to keep the inside black and white, with the cover being red. It also leaves the option of signing this book in red pen or marker.

I don't know about you, but I think love smells pretty sweet. Especially, when it comes to this album. :)

Amore Album Video

So I uploaded a new video of the Amore Video. I tried something different with videoing this album. No song or dance, just me, the pages, and a commentary of the book.

Wedding Guest Book Flip Album

Today I had the special privilege of custom designing a guest book for the son of our previous pastor.

Their colors are yellow and green.  Making this guest book was a beautiful challenge for me as is any custom ordered guest book I put together.

This unique flip album guestbook will hold cherished memories for generations to come.

I started out searching my local fabric and paper suppliers for just the right materials to match the bride's color theme.  I couldn't resist this floral yellow fabric.  I used a chocolate shimmer fabric for the binding and stitched it together with yellow ribbon using a tortoise shell pattern.

For the end I used a two toned yellow half inch ribbon.

What's really unique about my guest books are they work two ways.  This guest book flip album opens as a autograph book on one side allowing your guest to write short little notes of memories past or marriage advice to the couple.  Then half way through this guest book the paper changes to card stock and is designed so the couple can place photos and use the second half as a photo album.

Since this guest book is made in the traditional Japanese stab stitch technique this book can be flipped one way for a guest book and flipped over with the binding on the right side ( as in the Japanese style) and used as a photo album.

Now this couple open this guest book on anniversaries or lay out on a coffee table to share with guests into their home!  All pages inside this book are acid-free so they're memories will last a life time!

There are green card stock pages in the back for photos.
