As you can see, I finished the guest book album in this stand-out black and red design and added a ribbon pen!
I couldn't resist doing something special for the front page of this wedding guest book album. I just got these new wedding day stamps from my local craft shop and couldn't wait to try them out. So I know it's hard to read due to the photo but the page says "True Love".
I alternated and stamped the top and bottom corner of the pages with the elegant corner stamp that's very popular with alot of my custom orders right now. And, there's the pen - red ribbon and a black feather. We'll talk more about the pen later. I'm planning on doing a tutorial on how to make this easy and sophisticated pen later in the week, so stay tuned. :)
As you can see in the photo below, I used the "tortoise shell" binding method. I think it adds sophistication and the red really makes this book say "romance".
As I was making this book, I got to thinking a pen seems so lonely without one of those elegant pen stands. So here's what the whole guest book package ended up looking like - personalized.
As you can see, this guest book album package has already been claimed. I have one more left in the shop that is similar to it without the pen stand. That was my little trip earlier this week to get supplies. I was looking for a way to make a pen stand that was different, yet personal looking for the occasion.
I'll feature the pen stand later, I promise along with how I made it and the feather pen.
Until tomorrow, what colors are you leaning toward this wedding season?
